Hello Dane and all:

The best Vista optimizers that I have used are

Ultimate Windows Tweaker

TweakNow WinSecret

Registry Life

Process lasso

Anvir task manager free which has a tweaker tool

CacheBooster

CleanMem

These tools all read pretty well with the regular keys and mouse commands.

AutoMZ ultimate tweaker is pretty powerful it could do some system damage
from uncertainty as to the exact selection of settings.Perhaps some
scripting and consultation with the author who is currently away doing
military service will be beneficial.

Vispa is also quite powerful but takes in a lot of study before stepping off
the brink.

I use ultimate windows tweaker, TweakNow WinSecret 2009 Anvir task manager
free, CleanMem,process lasso and MyDefrag which used to be JK defrag. I also
use Avira antivir with scripting disabled and Avast home edition as an on
demand scanner.

Regards

David

My best advice for you would be to try the JK Defragmenter I think its
called but bare in mind with all these disk defragmentation applications -
particularly the free offerings - you're not going to get a perfectly
defragmented drive.

JK Defragmenter will do the best job as it can be run in "Safe Mode" before
other applications when less files are being accessed but then comes the
question. how do you do that when most people haven't got a hope in hell of
accessing "Safe Mode" with their screen reading package?
