I think the script version may be mislabeled in the script itself, causing the
unneeded updates. I can put out a fix for this shortly, but for now, just know
you have the latest version.
Sorry for the trouble.

The script is already installed. It won't install using the update option in
the script manager.

Hi Russ, You also must choose the Run instead of Save option in the
download diolog box so it applies the upgrade to the correct program. Sorry if
this wasn't your problem. Best Regards, Craig R.

That answers the first question, but I now need to know about the following:
When I check for an update, I'm informed windows sound recorder 1.01 is
available. After performing the update, the script manager informs me I'm
still running 1.0. I check again for an update, I'm informed there is an
update available. I can't seem to get this update to install.

        Here's the problems I'm having

When I run the script manager from the desktop, the windows sound
recorder script isn't in the script list.
If I run the script manager while windows sound recorder is running,
then it is in the script list. Is this the way it should work?

When I check for an update, I'm informed windows sound recorder 1.01 is
available.
After performing the update, the script manager informs me I'm still
running 1.0. I check again for an update, I'm informed there is an update
available. I can't seem to get this update to install.
