Those are the number of events that you have in skype which you haven't done yet, things like unlistened to voice mails, unread chat messages, etc.

I think you can press alt-shift-s, open up the skype info window, then tab to that area that says "last thirty day, last seven days, etc? Somewhere in there is for all events, can't recall how they phrase it. When you get there it's a list box, hit control end to get to the bottom of it if you want for the latest event. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jed Barton" <[email protected]>

Subject: skype issues

Hey guys,

A few interesting skype issues. When i am in skype, this number seems to be changing, and going up. When i do control shift T it says skype 42 and then
my skype name.
Supposedly a friend sent me a request to add me. I'm having truble finding it. Also trying to figure out where to find chats as well as file transfir
requests.
Thoughts?

Thanks,
Jed
