Hello:
The Hot Spot Script is very useful indeed.
You can predefine a spot on the screen where you want the mouse to go.
Then, when you hit the hotpot hotkey, the mouse will jump exactly to
that spot.
In Outlook, for example, especially for people I don't call regularly,
it is sometimes hard to retain all 10 digits in a telephone number, and
it is impossible if there is a 5 digit extension.
So, I have two Hotspots defined in Outlook. When I've located the
person of interest, I just hit the "Work" hotspot key or the "Mobile"
hotspot key.
Then, using the numpad, I can mouse across the number and enter it into
the phone.
Sure, I could get to the numbers other ways, but this cuts the steps to
a single keystroke.
The hotspot macros can also click the mouse at the desired spot. So, if
you have an application with a troublesome item that just needs to be
clicked, the hotspot macro is an easy solution.
