Agreed, that's way! too much for my personal taste. Everyone's entitled to
their opinion, but, that's way! too much in my opinion for an ftp client.

Taking a look at the site it looks like it does all this and the price I
believe was $59.0 for single user.
I like the free file solutions filezilla.

OK, but what about broken files? Will it resume them? And, will it let
you
choose alternate ports, if the server doesn't use the standard 21, and
what
about passive mode? Can you turn that on if it be needed?
Finally, how much does Web Drive cost, if anything?
Chris.

Hi,
I like web drive from www.webdrive.com
This will allow you to view ftp sites as if they were networked drives.
You can view/edit files on the remote server without the need to
download them to a temp folder first. I think that is slick as it
integrates directly into windows explorer.

I have been using Internet Explorer to upload and download ftp files,

Internet Explorer. Faced with buying an ftp program, I would like
advice on which program is most accessible. I recall that GW Micro
recommended FTP Explorer in the past. Is that still the case? I
have been using Cute FTP on a trial basis and, while it seems
accessible, I'm not entirely satisfied with it. What do you recommend?
