Hello all,

I'm sorry to have to inform some people but Word 2007 is here to stay so get
used to it. It's not going away and more places will be using it.

I wasn't sure I would like it when I first started using it but now that
I've used it for a year or so, I don't have problems with it. There are key
combinations that still work and once you know the combinations you use most
frequently, you shouldn't have any major problems. There are some
combinations such as that for page break, that still work in '07. There's
also the context menu to get to some things such as insert, delete, font,
cut, paste, and paste special. F7 will still get you the spell checker in
Word as will Alt-R, then S.

Another example of knowing your key combinations occurs for me in XL. We do
our checkbook with this program and knowing the key combinations for
inserting and then moving a sheet comes in real handy. These are the badges
that someone else spoke of. BTW for inserting a sheet in XL after the first
three are used, use alt-H, I, S. To move the sheet use Alt-H, O, M.

See, it's really not that bad and I won't go back, especially after having
used bothy '03 and '07 for a time. Can you say confusion? I sure can and
faced some as I had to remember what version I was in. Using all of the
same version eliminates this problem.
