Another, albeit cumbersome, trick is to type into Notepad the text you want
to put in one of those pesky edit boxes, copy it to the clipboard, the go to
the edit box, turn off browse mode and paste.

 

I only run into this issue, so far, at amazon, ebay and occasionally
facebook.

hi, this has been a issue with firefox for a wile. i am using firefox 3.6
and the only work around so far is turn autoload off. thats what gw. told
me.

because if not then you can only type like 1 maybe 2 letters at a time in
the search box and it kicks you right out.
