actually chris, i would think a case of using a 4 or 6 gigsof ddr 2 or ddr 3 
ram in windows seven would work since this would be better in the long run.

In any 32 bit os you can not address more than 4 gigs of ram.

I really didn't see the point of 32 bit windows 7,
because it takes more over-head to run vista or w7 32 bit,
so you really don't gain anything, if your going to upgrade, 64 bit
w7 is the way to go.

Or stay with xp.

On my new nice i7 based studio machine, I have an xp drive with all
my familiar apps that work well now, and a 64 bit windows 7 to grow
in to, because there are still lots of growing pains with w7 but in a
couple of years it'll be really good.
