Brenda, I'm not experiencing the issues you describe. I've been using Firefox for years and Thunderbird exclusively for 3 years now. There are some odd things you need to get used to with TB, especially if you are coming from the Outlook world, but they are not too bad.
I would say the biggest annoyance I ahve with TB is that sorting the columns in the mailboxes is a pain sometimes, but I've posted here on gw-info how to do it. Many thanks.
