you mean in the window eyes control pannel or in windows itself?
I do not know where you would find the tool tip in window eyes if there is
one to read things nor where you are talking about the general menu. please
let me know.

Subject: Problem With Windows Explorer

I am using Windows XP Home and have all updates to windows and the current
version of Window Eyes. The items on the desktop and those in explorer
windows read the tool tip but do not read the name of the item I am on. So I
guess you could say it is not reading the highlighted items. I have
uninstalled and reinstalled both the default Window Eyes and Windows
Explorer set files but this did not fix it. How can I get it to read the
items again?
