Cliff and Mike at GW Micro, First, Cliff are you shutting down your computer and restarting to see if the start up options are actually changing.
And Mike at GW, I called you about my computer not speaking after the startup screen. Well, it turns out I accidentally had the option "after logging in, run Window-Eyes, Never", selected by mistake. I changed that to: "after logging in, run window-eyes, always". BTW, I used ctrl-u to bring up narrator to fix the problem. A friend suggested trying it. So Cliff, see what happens when you shut down your computer.
