I was also having this slight delay problem and setting the paragraph to auto did help. XP Home, WE Eloquence, ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tom Fairhurst" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, February 10, 2011 12:14 PM Subject: Re: 7.5 beta 1 sluggish when moving through list boxes
Turning Paragraph Style off or setting it to Autodid help a bit. I specifically tested this with Windows Explorer. With Paragraph Style on, it was about a half second between when the Up or Down Arrows were pressed and the item was read. With Paragraph style off or set to Auto, the reading was faster. Come to think of it, I have noticed sluggishness in previous versions of Window-Eyes, but it occurred when some files and folders were quite large or there were a large number of files. I believe it is still true. There appear to be no problems with message lists in Outlook Express, contacts, or moving down the desktop. In fact, as others have said, the beta of 7.5 is more responsive than 7.2. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Michael D.
