Never had that trouble with Windows, XP or 7. And if one cuts files or
folders and does not complete the task, nothing is lost. There is always
the human factor in this which is the instability factor. ;)
Quote of the nanosecond...
Why is it, when a door is open it's ajar, but when a jar is open, it's not a
door?

Might I suggest that it only takes a few seconds extra to delete the files
after being copied instead of moved. With Windows instablilty, I have
started doing this myself.

I had that happen the other day. I was copying stuff to a Sansa Fuze MP3
player, I mean I was cutting a folder, and I actually lost the folder,
meaning I lost the stuff that was in it. I had lost speech. I'm not
blaming Window-Eyes for loosing the stuff. <smile> I could blame Windows
though, <grin> lol. I really seriously think this is a Windows problem,
and I've even heard that people with XP have the same problems with
Windows Explorer.
You see, I was cutting a folder from the loving Sansa Fuze to my hard
drive, so I could make the folders and files be recognized by the
VoiceBox program, but when I lost speech, I had to shut down, as I never
got speech back. I'm not blaming Window-Eyes for loosing the folder with
the files in it. <smile>

From time to time, I no sooner access my flash drive to start copying
