Do you still have to set baud rate and all that? Is wineyes seeing the proper
port, i.e com1, com2, etc?
I haven't done serial synths for a very, very long time, so I'm a bit rusty
here.

I have it plugged in but, Window eyes is not seeing it so, if someone knows
how to do this, this would be greatly appreciated.

In order to change synthesizers on the fly, you can either get into that
menu by hitting control backslash to get into the we control panel. At this
point you can either hit alt y to get into the synthesizer menu or arrow down
to it. With the dectsalk express you may have to install a separate driver for
it but it's been so long since I've done it I really can't remember.

Ok. I should know this but, i don't. I have a DecTalk Express and I have a
USB to serial converter. Everything is hooked up to the computer. How do I get
the Express to start speaking and is there a way to switch synthesizer's on the
fly once you have the synthesizer's you want to have installed on the computer?
I thought I saw something in the user's guide or in the audio tutorial but, I
guess I was wrnog.
