hi, to spell the file name with out having to move the mouse to it try
using the speak summery command. the first time it will speak the option
you are on. the second time it will spell the option and the 3rd press will
give it to you fanatically.
yes this is a msaa control so the information window-eyes speaks for the
control is correct how-ever the mouse should move to the selection.
are you using detailed view? what windows theem is being used. using
windows clasic theem and explorer detailed view.

It doesn't work right on either windows 7 machine I have, 32 or 64.
Routing gives me a custom control and I can never find a file name to
spell it, unless I use the right context key and choose rename, then i
can check the spelling.

I have tried using the WE cursor but unfortunately the we cursor does
not work any better on my system. The only way around the problem I
have found, is to use the mouse search function with control shift f.
This works but is a bit of a pain.
I have mentioned this problem numerous times, but, once again, no
comment from GW Micro.
