Using Windows XP SP3
Office Professional Plus 2007
Window-Eyes 7.5.1

I have become aware of an oddity which appears to be happening with the
use of "cut and paste" in Outlook 2007 since the upgrade.

I need to deal with quite a lot of names which are not familiar
spellings to me and so need to be very careful to ensure I use then
correctly in my responses.

Therefore, a process I have taken up when returning notes is:
1. Read the note.
2. Press the keys to <reply> or <reply all> to the note.
3. Go to the original note at the bottom of the e-mail.
4. Select and copy the name or phrase to the clipboard.
5. Go back to the top of the reply.
6. Write "Hello" and then <paste> the name in.

That all works.

However, if, between 4 and 6 above, I <select> and <delete> a different
part of text, then the portion of text I have deleted is <pasted> in
rather than the text copied to the clipboard in step 4. It seems that
the deleted text is copied to the clipboard without being instructed to
by me.

This behaviour does not happen when using Word 2007 or Notepad using
<cut> and <paste. Functionality.

.
