I had a kind of similar thing happen when trying to install WE 7.5.2 on
my Asus netbook that is running 7.5.1. No matter what I do, the
installation aborts and I get a message that says something like "This
upgrade cannot be used with the copy of Window Eyes that is currently
running".

Hi Everyone,

Well, I had the strangest thing happen this morning on an XP machine.

I was trying to install the latest upgrade for Window-Eyes and the
installation just wasn't doing anything, so I went to where the
installer was and I tried to run it again. lol. It told me there was
already an instance of this running, so I closed that window, and alt
tabbed back to the installation, as I couldn't find it before. It was
really strange. It finally started installing. the Window-Eyes 7.5.2
is working just fine on that computer now.

I'm really mad at Microsoft, though. I'm about mad enough to call
them about their IE9 as I don't want to mess up my computer rolling
back to IE8.

Okay, where do I get FireFox?

Okay, I know this isn't a Window-Eyes issue here below, but I am
furious and I need to vent. lol.

I tried making a purchase this weekend on a web site:
Christianaudio.com they have that $7.49 sale until the 9th of
December, so I was going to purchase some audio books, using
Window-Eyes 7.5.2. Now, this is not the problem of Window-Eyes. The
folks at christianaudio.com told me this morning that their web site
doesn't work well with Internet Explorer. I told them that was
strange, as I had purchased stuff twice in one week, last summer with
IE8. I think the problems are really with IE9 now.

I got to get FireFox, and they mentioned Google Chrome, but I don't
think it is accessible.

Sorry folks, I just needed to vent. lol.

Thanks so much for listening.

Hi Pat,
I had the same problem a few times since I upgraded to 7.5.2. Two or
three times when in WLM WE just quit and never came back until I
rebooted. Once when I rebooted the WE error report came up and when
I clicked on send report I got the message that there was and error
in the error reporting. LOL!!

Subject: Problems with Window-Eyes 7.5.2

Hi Everyone,

I am experiencing more problems with Window-eyes 7.5.2 not speaking.
It just stops talking when I go into my computer, and into a folder
and I have to load Window-Eyes several times in order for it to get
straightened out. It starts talking, and then it just stops talking
and then it will start talking a little bit and then it will cut out
when I alt-tab.

I see some instability here. I was going to reboot my computer, but
then it started talking again, so I didn't have to reboot. This is
very frustrating when it starts cutting out like that.
Any ideas are very much appreciated.

Thanks.
