Dennis,
You have to have a Facebook username (which is different from your email
address or phone number). I believe you can only create one from the
main site-- though as I haven't made one in a couple of years the
precise details on where to set this up escape me at the moment. Once
you have a Facebook user name, go into Miranda's accounts window, add a
Jabber account, and choose "Facebook" as the gateway. Then, on the
account screen, enter your Facebook username and password, click OK, and
you should be good to go.
