Chip, Thank you for writing back. I found out that the form was unprotected as you indicated. When I protected the document, though, nothing seemed to change. Since I didn't create the form, I thought possibly something in the form prevented me from protecting it. By that time, I had spent so much time on it that I said heck with it and just put an X where the checkbox was. Since I was printing the form, throwing off the field numbers didn't really matter. I did not see an enable forms option but will look for that just so I know if that takes care of it for the next time I run into this.
