Greetings,

Chances are that these emails are written in HTML. Outlook 2007 and 2010 use Microsoft Word as the default mail viewers, and frankly Word does a pretty lousy job of displaying HTML mail most of the time. If you have the Outlook Enhance app installed, you can press Alt-0 when such messages are open to cause them to open in the web browser. Alternatively, press Alt-H, A, V to accomplish the same thing. To our knowledge there is no way to change the default Outlook viewer.

HTH,
Steve

Hi,
Trying to help[ a friend using Win Eyes and Outlook 2010.

He and I both get emails from the same place. I can read them fine with
WLM (not the newest version) and Win Eyes 7.2 He is having trouble with
these and other messages using Outlook 2010 and Win Eyes 7.2 or higher. (I
can find out his exact version if that matters.) The complaint he has is
that when he opens the message, he cannot arrow down through the message.
He has to use the read to end command. He says the messages we both get
from the same organization are not the only ones he has issues with, but
others he can read just fine using arrow keys.

He's a pretty basic Win Eyes user and I do not know if he's downloaded any
scripts for Outlook 2010.

Is this issue familiar to any of you and solved by any scripts?
