I have recently started using Outlook 2010 because it came on my new
Windows 7 machine, and I use Outlook 2007 here at work. Starting with
Outlook 2007, MS Word is used as the default editor, and this cannot be
changed. This causes HTML messages to not read well. One thing that
you can do is to make the message display in IE and you do this by
hitting ALT-H, then A and V. Also, sometimes in Outlook 2010 when an
HTML message is opened, the info bar will pop up and will ask if you are
having trouble viewing the message. When this happens, hit the context
menu key, and the first item should be, view in browser. Hit ENTER. If
you open a message, and cannot read it, hit TAB to see if the info bar
is there, because its presence will not automatically be announced.

Subject: Outlook 2010 question

Hi,
Trying to help[ a friend using Win Eyes and Outlook 2010.

He and I both get emails from the same place. I can read them fine with
WLM (not the newest version) and Win Eyes 7.2 He is having trouble with
these and other messages using Outlook 2010 and Win Eyes 7.2 or higher.
(I can find out his exact version if that matters.) The complaint he
has is that when he opens the message, he cannot arrow down through the
message.
He has to use the read to end command. He says the messages we both get
from the same organization are not the only ones he has issues with, but
others he can read just fine using arrow keys.

He's a pretty basic Win Eyes user and I do not know if he's downloaded
any scripts for Outlook 2010.

Is this issue familiar to any of you and solved by any scripts?
