Hi. I can understand GW Micro's thinking on checking with the server for an installation of Window-Eyes. Since GW Connect relies on the internet to work, it makes sense that it needs the net to function. The flaw that I see in this thinking is that people may start their computers while the internet's not working. I'm not sure what's the best solution for this situation.
