Hi Davy, I sometimes had the same problem with 7.5.4.1. Restarting WE did solve this.
I believe something inwindows is stille called "program manager", but don't know, why Window-Eyes will speak this. My experience is, that when Window-Eyes says program manager, the search-function in the startmenu of win7 is also not working. Maybe it is working, but Window-Eyes will not speak the found items.
