That really would be a good thing and perhaps it could be optional in the
control panel as well because I know as sure as God made little green apples
that there are going to be those who will insist on it remaining the same
like the should window-eyes say the version number at startup. It went on
and on and on and on forever when a simple way to make everybody happy was
at hand.

Hello. This probably has been discussed time and time again. But what
about fractions? Some recipes, for example, have the one half fraction
instead of 1/2, and the only way Window-Eyes speaks those characters is,
if you left arrow and hear the character. Is there some reason this does
not speak automatically?
