If you upgrade over
your current window, all of your programs remain untouched; however, I strongly recommend that you do not upgrade to windows 8. If you do, use the custom install to get a dual boot, at which time you would need to install all of your programs. I have upgraded to windows 8 using dual boot, and I can not function in Windows 8.
The program I use, scottrade elite, crashes Window eyes.
I will continue using windows 7 until the glitches in window 8 and window eyes are resolved, at which time I will post the good news.
Good luck,
Manny.
