There was a news report the other day stating that Consumers Report
recommended not upgrading to Windows 8. Bet that made old Bill Gates
real happy.

If you upgrade over
your current window, all of your programs remain untouched; however, I
strongly recommend that you do not upgrade to windows 8.
If you do, use the custom install to get a dual boot, at which time you
would need to install all of your programs.
I have upgraded to windows 8 using dual boot, and I can not function in
Windows 8.
The program I use, scottrade elite, crashes Window eyes.
I will continue using windows 7 until the glitches in window 8 and
window eyes are resolved, at which time I will post the good news.
Good luck,
Manny.
