OK. I'm a long time jaws user attempting to make the jump to WE8. There's something in browse mode that confuses me.
I use www.bookshare.org a lot. When I get on a page with a list of books I can tab the letter h to jump from heading to heading. The site defines each book title as both a heading 2 and a link. Here's where I'm a bit confused. In jaws in both speech and braille I get the title name and heading announced on a single line and I can simply press enter to activate the link. In WE I hear the heading 2 and the title but my display only shows heading 2. I have to down arrow or pan right to reach the link being on a different line in browse mode. Here's my questions: First, is there a setting to place these elements on the same line as they are in the html? Second, is there a setting to shorten heading 2 to something like h2 to conserve space? Thanx, John If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
