oh trust me. We did it all.  Everything in the gw kb article.  everything in 
the laptops manual.  No joy.

That's beside the point though.  I don't think it relates to the issue at hand. 
 Seeing as how it worked in one version and not avter an upgrade.

Unless something else changed that we don't know about.
