I don't know what's up with the system tray. Are you using the
Window-Eyes Insert-S key combination to open the dialog?
To view the most typical program startup items and disable some do the
following:
Open a Run dialog.
The quickest way is with Windows-R.
Type msconfig and press enter.
You should be in the System Configuration window.
If you're not on a tab Shift-Tab up until you are. You should be on the
General tab.
Cursor right over to the Startup tab and Tab down into the list.
Uncheck the items you want to disable.
Tab to Apply and hit enter.
Then Shift-Tab to OK and hit enter.
Warming! Make sure you know what you're doing. I'm just answering your
question and am in no way liable for any problems you have if you
disable the wrong item.

Tom

Hey guys,
I need some help with this. I am having extreme difficulty accessing stuff
in the system tray. I find that I have to open everything twice. I never
know whether to single left or right click, or double right or left click.
Either way, I'll do it once, and nothing happens.
Any ideas?
Also, how do I view what starts up when windows boots? I need to make it so
a lot of things don't start when I boot, too many programs are loading
