It took two W.E. users and two interested onlookers to even define the issue I'm about to bring up.
This is on a Dell Inspiron Seleron laptop running the standard 8.3 under 8.1 combo, but in desktop layout. (It has a numpad.) The combinations Ctrl.-alt plus the arrows remain silent, even in Key Describer Mode. They also flip the display around such that it can be upside down, and there seems to be a left/right flip as well. No standard procedure returns the control of thesekeys to W.E. Some other reading of system functions is also impaired. Has anybody seen this behavior? What do we need to get rid of so W.E. can behave normally? There's nothing obvious in the start-up group. Sure hope someone has seen and conquered this problem. -- "Americans must know the basic architecture of programs designed to protect them."(Senator Franken.) Regards, Max.
