No one can dispute that the new partnership bewtween GW and MS is a game-changer. This reminds me of the April Fools release from Mr. Hofstatter detailing the purchase of GW by MS.
GW of course in reality retains independence, but what will owners of SMA's do after the release of the last free upgrade? I own Office 2010 but use many other programs. For lots of us who bought the SMA with a Louis Braille commemorative coin, W.E. 9.0 may be our final prepaid version. Really curious as to how pricing will be affected and/or handled in the near future. Kudos to GW for this arrangement and for truly making each SMA upgrade count! -- Regards, Max.
