Yes, you could run it from a thumb drive. If the machine has Office 2010 or
higher, you are good to go. If not, Window-Eyes would run as a demo.
However, since Window-Eyes can downloaded from anywhere, it probably makes
more sense to just download it from www.windoweyesforoffice.com and then
just fully install Window-Eyes on that machine.

Thanks,

Jeremy

Have to arrest you here. First of all, WE for Office, only needs Office
installed, to get out of demo mode. That is, if you try to run the version
on any system where Office has not yet been installed, the free version of
WE will simply run as a 30 minute demo version.

Secondly, according to an earlier posting on this list, just a few hours ago
- made by Jeremy - you apparently should be able to run it from a USB stick
or the like. Plug it into a computer with Office installed, and things will
work just like normal. Plug it into a computer without Office, and it will
run in a 30 minute demo. At least, that is what I can read from Jeremy's
reply to another user, who had a similar question. Browse the archives, and
read one of the latest messages from Jeremy, and you should be able to find
the answer I am refering to. Or, maybe someone else still have the message
lingering, and could send you a copy, since you seem to have missed it.

With the risk of having misunderstood something rather basic here,
