Running WLM 2012 on a Win7 32bit PC with W-E 8.4 It has been said that I should be using the browse mode to read and write email messages. When I press control-shift-a I get the message “browse not available.” When I go to the alt-v “view menu” and press l and r I get no response. I am also finding that when I write a new email, and type in the contact name I often have my braille display lock up on a name in the list. Frequently I am unable to read with speech my reply to an email, and on occasion even a new email. If I think I made a typo, I can sometimes backspace and the letters will be pronounced.
Next, I have found that neither alt-7 pressed once or twice helps me to attach a file to a message, nor does alt-I followed by IA doing anything but enter the IA in the text of the message. I know how to save emails and their attachments. Obviously I am doing something wrong or there is a setting that is missing. I do believe I have the appropriate and latest WLM App. Grandpa DOS is just about ready to pull out what is left of his hair. smile Any help you can give will be appreciated.
