I have Windows 7 and WE 8.4. I have Windows media center installed and use it from time to time. I used it several months ago without an issue. Today when I tried, I have a big problem with the Guide. I open the guide and can arrow to the left to read the list of channels. When I arrow to the right to the next cell I only hear the word cell and not the name of the program for the time slot. I tried with both my desktop and laptop computer with the same result. I did reboot and tried again without success. If I cannot read the guide, it is a big issue in selecting to record. The only thing I did was install the latest update of Window Eyes going from 8.1 I think to 8.4. I cannot see how this would cause an issue. I have not updated media center. Right now I do get a prompt for a media center update, but I am planning to try to get this to work first. The rest of the media center buttons seems to work like they have in the past.
