Again, my fault here, I should have been even more specific. It's not in
the composition edit box, it's in the reading of a message that has
already been composed where the problem is. Hence why I made the comment
about browse mode. not getting any response from the active braille in
that windo but I am getting feedback in the main tbird window and
dialogues themselves.

font to use. I'm wondering what would be the effect of choosing a
Fixed-width rather than variable-width font? If this doesn't help,
what about tabbing down to Size and choosing something other than
Medium? Finally, what about changing the background colour; okay,
the foreground seems to be white, but I'm not sure what BFFFFFFFF
is; ideally, we want white on black.

I'm not a braille display owner, and so I can't see why your
experience of Thunderbird would be different than using any other
program, unless there is something specific in the set file for
TB. How can I help?
