Hi: I tried to download and install Visual Studio 2012 and 2013 from the Microsoft Download Center. I managed to get the installers downloaded. After executing the executible I get the installer window. The only text or controls that read at all during the entire process was the I Agree CheckBox. All the other controls, text and update status were not readable with WE nor could I click on anything, nothing at all. No progress indicator which was actually displayed along with a yes no box about allowing the app to make changes to my computer nor the progress nor the eventual finish or launch buttons, nothing. I had to have a sighted person do the entire process both times now. This is unacceptable for a supposed Microsoft Partner. If there is some setting I am missing or something that is not set to handle Microsoft Software installers let me know so I can fix it. This si just another headache along with WE sometimes, after I deleted a file from my Desktop, not reading anything in the Apps Menu and not reading anything when I tried to tab to other controls and ended up ReBooting to get things back to normal. I have also had problems with a couple of other windows but I forget which ones and these 2 things are the ones I just ran up against most recently. The installer problem is the most frustrating problem since installing or mucking an installation up could cause seriious system problems for some software like Sql Server when I get there. Nough said, what can I do to get WE to work with the Microsoft Download Center installer? Rick USA If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
