this might mean some doubling up within the hot key system, as the edge has buttons for performing these functions.

i'll soon know!

thanks.

You might want to check what key is defined as shift-tab, maybe you hit
it by accident.

hello everyone.

maybe someone can explain this to me please.

when entering text via my braille edge, it often happens that an
action like shift-tab occurs, moving me from a message body to a
message subject. my text ends up at the end of the subject. i am
oblivious of this until i edit before sending, or worse, see the sent
message as the list distributes it.

i do not habitually invoke shift-tab, so wonder if i have some sort of
cursor tracking problem.

i notice it mostly with email clients- outlook and thunderbird.

ultimately, apart from checking for thoroughly before completing the
message, is there anything i should try?

i wonder if i should write the msg in notepad, and then paste it back
into the blank message body.

thanks.

vaughan.
