Wo, do I detect a slight hint of bitterness in this statement? Possibly interlaced with some  melodrama for good measure?
the new generation of developers straight out of schools, baptized on
ignorance and weaned on indifference to the world outside social
networking and reality television.

Anyway, back to the not quite so bold issue of the spotify app, I say the squeaky wheel gets the grease, if maybe enough people bring the issue to these scary developer folks, maybe they'll listen? We could start a campaign of some sort? Possibly look for some sympathy in the company? But please, dear programming gods, don't let me be plunged into the flash-based lake of fire!!!
Sorry, I couldn't resist.

I'm sure that GW Micro would be happy to work with Spotify to make it more
accessible. It is true that there is a large market, and actually, making
the software accessible has proved to be of benefit for fully sighted
people. For example, the Tesco website used to have a text only version of
their website, but they found that other people were using that version more
than the standard version, so they took down the standard version.

I would have thought that it would not be difficult to do something similar
to ITunes in Spotify, by having it in an HTML window, rather than flash as
it seems to be now, and I would think it would only take a small amount of
rewriting.

Just a brief observation:
Strange, is it not, how, despite the sizable customer base blind
people potentially offer Spotify, the corporation has so far
responded with so little enthusiasm to their usability concerns. I'm
afraid, Spotify isn't unique in this respect. I'm afraid this is
only the beginning of a new era of HCI homogeneity. the new
generation of developers straight out of schools, baptized on
ignorance and weaned on indifference to the world outside social
networking and reality television.

Hello, I don't think that is possible and plus the preferences is
inaccessible. Does Window-Eyes have an app that will work?

Hi,

If you can get your hands on version 0.9.7.16 you will have more success.
You will also need to stop spotify from updating automatically.
