Hi Max,
Sounds like a complete screw-up! Okay, let's say you were to have a
program using the default.set set file associated with it, and then pop
up the WE control panel? I'm thinking that even the WE control panel
wouldn't read properly without a common frame of reference. Give it a
try and see what happens.
Good luck,
Rod

My little Win-8 diva is not even reading W.E. control panel correctly. If
I go from a program to Verbosity with Ins.-V, Ioptions like "Attribute
Changes", "Active," etc. are shown; however, pressing Tab even after the
treeview is opened just gives out with: "Toggle scope, Yes; Toggle scope,
NO." This is with several hits of the tab key.
In other words, it's like the old radio joke: "Here aare the ball scores:
7 to 2, 5 to 3, and 4 to Nothing." Frame of reference is lost.
Also In Firefox familiar pages aren't having their links read; yet W.E.
dutifully reports visited links, and they seem to correspond to where I'd
frequently go.
Running the amateur version of Win-8 on what's claimed to be a 64-bit
Celeron processor. Anyone ever seen this behavior before?
