Hi Jeremy,

Yes, for those of us who, like me, have some free time and who don't
require payment.

I know from my personal experience writing apps how much goes into writing
them.

If the app-development process could be subdivided into smaller tasks and
the pieces delegated to individuals, then, possibly apps could be out the
door quicker.

I like writing apps, but I want to work on apps that people really need,
because it makes the work much more inspirational when one knows that there
are people waiting for this one to come out.

Just today, in fact, a lister mentioned Sonar, and, although I don't use
it, clearly there is some demand for improved accessibility, since I have
heard about it several times over the past few months.

Now, for me, I'd have to start from scratch, I'd have to find the program
on the web, look it over, and see what I could do with it.

Now, GW Micro has an app for it, and I guess it needs updating, since WE
users are saying so.

Naturally, then, my feeling is: let's go!

It's easier to fix this app if the app author has done the ground work and
then can simply say to a few of us, "Okay, Sonar has changed, and so we'd
need to do such and such to get it accessible again."

I guess you see where I'm going. Smile

Best regards,

Rod

Rod, are you thinking that these would be volunteers but the project would
be managed by Ai2 to ensure everyone is having a coordinated effort?

Thanks,

Jeremy

Rod, that's agood idea, but does that mean paid contracting and, hence,
paid apps by the end users? Just a thought.

Hi,

As an app developer, One thing I'd like to see is a method for
collaborating with AI Squared and other non-employee app developers, on
projects which need the most urgent attention.

This would, I feel, further the endeavour to make more and more software
accessible.

Up to now, I see too many people with amazing skills all running in
different directions, skills which, if organized on one project at a time,
could do more work, and take less time to get it done.

Just a thought,

Rod

Subject: Window-Eyes Survey

Hello Everyone,

We want to take a quick survey. If you could have a feature in
Window-Eyes, what would it be? Please keep in mind that the next version
is improving web support, so we are looking for your opinion on what you
would like to see in the future. Please note that we cannot commit to
implement every suggestion, but we certainly welcome your feedback.

Thanks!

Jeremy
