Hi Everyone,

I do not have a Victor Reader Stream, but I'm on the phone with a friend who does. She is going to attempt to format a 64GBSDXC as FAT32 format

And you are totally corect!!!!!!! lol.

It worked! She is so happy! lol.

She successfully formatted the 64GB SDXC card on her Victor Reader Stream! lol. I'm way happy about this! lol.

I take back what I said about not being able to do this on the Victor Reader Stream. <smile>

Now I can use any of the 3 Formatting tools that were given to me on this list to format 64GB SDXC cards for the loving Blaze EZ. lol. I'm also jazzed about that!

It's a beautiful day and I'll just take my loving Blaze EZ outside with me and sit in the sun and listen to a parcially filled 64GB SDXC card. lol. I think I have about 8GB of music on it. lol.

I have a long ways to go to fill it. lol.

Thanks to all of you, and yes we'll keep those loving SDXC card formatter programs. lol.

Thanks much.

Many Blessings,

Hi. Several people on the Stream list have said that they successfully formatted larger cards in the Stream itself. The card isn't recognized with the XFAT file system on it but the unit will format the card from the menu. The best way to find out if this will work is to try it out for yourself.

Hi Everyone,

I was told by several people that the Victor Reader Stream Second generation will not format a 64GB SDXC card.

One does have to use one of these programs to format the 64GB SDXC cards as FAT32. That is a definite fact. <smile>

I've got three programs now, thanks to 3 people. <smile>

Tomorrow I'll zip them all up and put them in my dropbox and send everyone the link.

Thanks so much to all of you. Now, I just got to get my Window-Eyes mouse fixed.

Thanks much.

I have a 1st gen. Stream which formated a 64-gb card. Two of them. I'm
using both. You will need a current adapter from Kingston though.

Hi Rod and Everyone,

Thanks to all of you who wrote to me about this issue. <smile>

To my knowledge, and from what I've been told by a few others, this can
not be done in Windows, as this is really a 64GB SDXC and the only format
it will format is EXFat. This will not work on any of our devices.

This has to be formatted as a FAT32. <smile>

Carol sent me a program that did the job, but my husband did this, and I
couldn't figure it out, but she sent me instructions. <smile>

I think it's pretty mouse intensive, and that would be fine, but my
Window-Eyes mouse is not working properly, and I don't know why.

That's for another topic. <smile>

I can't figure out what setting is not correct in my Window-Eyes, so I'll
tackle that later.

One doesn't realize how much they use the WE mouse, until they don't have
it. <smile>

This 64GB SDXC card is formatted as FAT32 and now works in my loving Blaze
EZ. lol.

Thank you so very much, Carol. <smile>

I do so very much appreciate everyone on this list. <smile>

Thanks much.

Hi Pat,

As memory serves, this can be done in Windows 7, through the properties of
the removable drive in question.

Subject: An Accesible Program to format SDXC cards as FAT32

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for an Accessible program that will allow us to format
SDXC cards as FAT32 so they can be used on some of our devices.

This cannot be done in Windows XP or Windows 7.

I was told there is such a program. I don't know where to find it.

Any help is so very much appreciated, please.

Thanks much.
