A clipboard utility such as Clipmate can do this easily.

Hi:
I wonder if you can add a feature that no screen reader has, to my
knowledge, but might be useful.
It is the ability to permanently store search strings.
For example, when I am reading messages in my gmail account, I like to
read all the messages in a conversation and delete the conversation.
The way I get to the next post in the conversation is to use the
Window-eyes search to search for the phrase "show advanced".
Then the next time I want to find a message I press insert-f to find
the next occurrence of "show advanced".
The problem comes when I need to quickly go to another webpage and I
have to search for something else such as the name "Kevin". When I
press control-shift-f and search for "Kevin", then I go back into my
email and want to search for "show advanced", I cannot press insert-f
because the insert-f hotkey will search for Kevin.
Is there a way, or could it be built in, to save what you type after
pressing control-shift-f, then retrieve it later when you want to find
that character string again?
