Ok, I installed the first two files vstor30.exe vstor_redist.exe ie 10 was already on the compuer so it did not install started outlook and saw the outlook enhance from gw was asked to be installed, I let it.
Still the same thing, I don't get the dialog about the virtualization, but when I go to the next email with control+d or control+. Using the down arrow to read the email reads the subject or first line of the email and it stuck. If I rout the mouse to the area it says it is landing on a list view. Hmmm? There is nothing else open. -----Original Message----- From: Chris Grabowski [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, November 26, 2014 10:48 AM To: Jim Ruby; 'Rick Alfaro'; 'gw-info' Subject: RE: outlook 2007 and we 9.0 beta 1 problem Hi, Try downloading and installing the following three files: http://download.microsoft.com/download/c/9/3/c93c2e15-4f0d-4482-99a1-37d096a 399a2/vstor30.exe http://download.microsoft.com/download/1/D/1/1D16DA35-34C2-47FB-9BA5-35EED96 03C42/vstor_redist.exe http://download.microsoft.com/download/9/5/A/95A9616B-7A37-4AF6-BC36-D6EA96C 8DAAE/dotNetFx40_Full_x86_x64.exe Saw the same issue yesterday and running those files solved the problem. I can then hit ok, exit outlook and start outlook again and that message will appear again. It will only appear once after I read my first email after that I won't see it again until the next time I close and re-open outlook. Hope there is a solution really slowing me down today in mail, but that is just part of the beta process:). -----Original Message----- From: Jim Ruby [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, November 26, 2014 10:02 AM To: 'Rick Alfaro'; 'gw-info' Subject: RE: outlook 2007 and we 9.0 beta 1 problem Yes, just checked and everything is up to date and installed and the same thing is happening. -----Original Message----- From: Rick Alfaro [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, November 26, 2014 9:24 AM To: 'Jim Ruby'; 'gw-info' Subject: RE: outlook 2007 and we 9.0 beta 1 problem Jim, Just a thought. Are you sure the correct set files are in place for your version of Outlook? You can go to the WE control panel and hit alt f for the file menu and arrow down to factory settings and hit enter. Go down to the Outlook 2007 entry and make sure they show as being installed and up to date. If not install them and see if it corrects your problem. And the next message opens up we gets stuck and will not read the body of the message. I have to shift tab into the header then tab back in to the body then I can read the message. Not sure if this is a bug or there is a setting I need to change/update. If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
