Move to the start of what you want to select.
Press f8.
Then move to the end of what you want to select and press f8 again.
You will get a dialog and press enter to copy the selected text between your
f8 start and f8 end press.
Then go to what ever you want and normal to paste ctrl-v.
Hope this helps.
Sam

Subject: Selecting text With Beta

This subject was probably covered, but I didn't notice the problem at
the time.

How can you now highlight text to copy and paste? thanks. You used to
be able to shift down arrow.
