Hi If this feature was made to work consistently then you would be able to turn it off. There is a set file I do believe that loads when this window is active. You could simply set speak window type to never. It would not read the type of window. Indexes could be controlled the same way. turn them on if you want them turn them off if you don't. turn off window title recognition to avoid hearing the name of this window. There you go the window works correctly as it should if these settings are all on. If you want to change how it works you use the verbosity options just as you would anywhere else to turn it off.

If I keep holding down the alt key I have not left the list so it just reports the name and index of the task I am switching to.
