I had not had a chance to brows Audible since the release of the beta. I went there today and found that, once I go to check out releases in a genre by going to that genre then limiting books displayed to English and Unabridged and then sorting the lot by release date and displaying 50 titles per page all of these being my usual browsing settings, there are no longer any headings. I used to navigate by headings, each title listed had a heading beginning just after the lingk to give the title as a gift and started with the title, author and basic info followed by a small selection of the publisher’s description of the book. I know from past experience that all of this information is part of a mouse flyover that pops up when a sighted user runs the mouse pointer over the right area. For years now, Window eyes has read this flyover informatio n for me and I use it to quickly run through the list of books without needing to enter the books’ own pages in order to hunt down the publisher’s description. If possible, I would prefer to continue doing this. II just wonder if it is possible to change settings to allow this to continue. I am liking a lot of the new way Window eyes handles web content, but I am hoping that at least some of the old methods might still be valid. I am a voracious reader and keep a huge wishlist in addition to the books I already own. I go through the new and upcoming releases at Audible on a regular basis and it would really make thingds more time consuming if I had to enter the page for each and every book to determine whether or not I want to buy it or put it in my wishlist. I would really prefer it if the flyover could continue to pop up automatically for me and especially if it continued to show as a heading, thus making browsing the books much faster and easier.
Any help about ways to handle settings would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Chris If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
