what can i do with windows 8 that i can't do with 7?
Absolutely nothing. What i'm still trying to tell you is that we couldn't even get the os to even work. The computer kept locking up during instalation, and we never got it going. If the os refused to work, i just had a big paperweight on my desk. I'm sorry, but i must maintain my original premis. I am going to a Mac mini which has it's own screen reader. Sounds much better to me. As i said, i'm not at all afraid of learning curves, but i cannot learn anything on an os which doesn't. If you windows 8 folks wanna commit computer suicide, go the hell ahead.

The other problem, is, evenif i had success with windows 8, there is no
tutorial on learning it, so it's a losing proposition no matter what. You
think it'swonderful? Well, i say it's certainly not. I couldn't even do the
usual things with it. At least voiceover works. l,
