I do hope that someone has a fix for this. I have an old Acer laptop running XP on which I wish to install Window-eyes 8.4. Unfortunately, I am unable to finish the installation because apparently something in my XP setup is corrupt. I do not recall the message verbatim, but it tells me that the video driver is not correctly installed, and I must reboot to fix the problem. But upon rebooting, I get the same message. So I used the weremove tool to get rid of all vestiges of Window-eyes after which I attempted to reinstall with the same result.
Specifically, what is the problem here, and what is the fix? Thanks. Don Roberts If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
