I do hope that someone has a fix for this. I have an old
Acer laptop running XP on which I wish to install
Window-eyes 8.4. Unfortunately, I am unable to finish the
installation because apparently something in my XP setup is
corrupt. I do not recall the message verbatim, but it tells
me that the video driver is not correctly installed, and I
must reboot to fix the problem. But upon rebooting, I get
the same message. So I used the weremove tool to get rid of
all vestiges of Window-eyes after which I attempted to
reinstall with the same result.

Specifically, what is the problem here, and what is the fix?
Thanks.
