Hello Donald, Typically, this error is a result of having the wrong video driver installed for your display adapter. If you are able to find out specifically what you have (in the System Information utility for example), install the drivers directly from your video card manufacturer's website. Once done, you should be able to install Window-Eyes. If you have trouble obtaining the correct video drivers, you might be able to get some help at the Microsoft Disability Answer Desk at 800-936-5900.
