Hi: I am just startting to get that too. Sometimes after awhile of working in Notepad or even other programs, things get sluggish, slower and slower and then seemingly lock up. Sometimes closing the program and ReOpening will fix it for another while and sometimes ReBooting is called for. I just tried to read the task manger and aall those tabb items but cant, so far, make anything out of them. In the list of running processes nothing stands out but under history, performance I see the cpu was 100 percent whatever that indicates if anything. Does anyone know good tools to figure out what is causing this type of problem. I don't have the vsto objects yet but this has just started appening - at least for me. I would llike to figure out what is causing this and can even create a program to print out stuff if I know what to go and get. Rick USA
